PegasusBigCommerce stores now open to browser agents by default
Commerce switched on WebMCP, an early-preview browser standard, for eligible BigCommerce merchants, so an agent in a shopper’s browser can search the catalog, fill a cart and hand back a checkout link while checkout itself stays on the store.
Your doorIf you sell on BigCommerce, open the new AI settings and choose on purpose whether to stay in; on any other platform, treat it as a sign that agent-readable catalogs are becoming a default, and map which product, price and cart actions you would expose to agents yourself.
